This season will be challenging for all of us, affording us the opportunity to grow in trust and dependence on God. As the children of God, we love our neighbors with hope, healing, and courage. Consider creative ways to invest in relationships, those near and far, as we learn together and spur one another on toward love and good deeds!

Our leadership team has been closely following the latest developments and recommendations in response to COVID-19. The current recommendation from the CDC is that people should not gather in groups larger than 10. With respect to these guidelines, we will be suspending our service at North Star Church, and providing an online worship service.
Here is our current plan on how our church can still worship together this weekend:

We will make available an online only worship service, including worship and message at 10:00 am on Sunday morning. Access the service HERE (or you can copy and paste this link into your browser:

Regarding TITHING during these days/weeks ahead, we have three options for you to consider:
1. You can mail your tithes to our North Star Church mailing address: 2221 1st Ave E, Hibbing, MN 55746
2. You can drop off your tithes in the mail slot at the North Star Offices: 2221 1st Ave E, Hibbing, MN 55746
3. You can sign-up and give online HERE (or you can copy and paste this link into your browser:

In the days ahead, we would like to make sure we have our attendees contact information updated
(even if you haven’t had any changes to your contact information recently). Please send us your Name, Phone Number & Email to or HERE. This way, we will be able to keep you updated with anything further, regarding how COVID-19 is affecting North Star Church.

LIFE groups will continue to meet for those who choose to attend; we ask that you keep them under CDC guidelines. Contact your LIFE group leader for ongoing communication. All other ministries are temporarily suspended at this time, (i.e. youth group, knights, children’s church, etc.). We will continue to assess in the coming weeks how we will meet and function, due to the COVID-19.
We are asking that you set aside this hour of worship as we come together online in Spirit and Truth Sunday Morning at 10am. Please consider helping those around you that need it. We will be sharing service opportunities and ways you can love your neighbor in the Sunday sermon and on social media in the days to come. We will miss getting to worship Jesus with you in person, but we are thankful that God has provided alternative means gathering in Spirit. We hope you’ll join us.
“And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.” – Hebrews 10:24-25
Our main avenue of detailed communication will be on our website.
We will continue to update as developments with COVID-19 change.
